One Room Leads to Another

When you renovate a single room in your home, it influences all of the other spaces connected to it. For example, if you want to expand your kitchen, it’s often possible to knock down a wall completely or partially — which can affect connected areas like living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, and more.

Room Leads to Another

That’s why at America Remodeling, we encourage our clients to think globally when planning home renovations. Making improvements to a single room can make your whole house better. Things like natural light, open space, and even the way sound travels through your home can be impacted every time you make an upgrade to a single room.

Connectivity

Other elements can be affected as well, such as plumbing, electrical wiring, and even the structural integrity of your home. For example, if our client wants to renovate a kitchen that’s connected to a bathroom, we often recommend doing the bathroom at the same time because the two rooms usually share utilities like water lines, sewer pipes, and electrical conduits inside their shared wall. So if you are ripping the wall out to do upgrades on one room, you may as well do both.

We also can tell you if a wall you want to remove, move, or change in any way is a load-bearing wall. If so, it’s not impossible to get rid of it, but there will need to be additional steps taken to shift the weight it carries somewhere else.

America Remodeling

Everything in your home is connected. One room leads into another. Shared walls serve both spaces. So changes in one area can affect the other.

At America Remodeling, we can help you make the most of your home renovation. Whether you are planning to upgrade a kitchen, a bathroom, or any other area of your home, we can show you how to make the most of your remodeling project so that it has the maximum impact on your whole home.
